Project management (PM) is a framework to guide your team to success. This includes your team objectives, tools, and techniques both over the long-term and your day-to-day work. There are many different ways to deliver projects.
We will help you with the methodology to provide structure and project success.
Agile – Collaborating to iteratively deliver whatever works.
Scrum – enabling a small, cross-functional, self-managing team to deliver fast.
Kanban – improving speed and quality of delivery by increasing visibility of work in progress and limiting multi-tasking.
Scrumban – limiting work in progress like Kanban, with a daily stand up like Scrum.
Lean – streamlining and eliminating waste to deliver more than less.
eXtreme Programming (XP) – doing development robustly to ensure quality.
Waterfall – planning project fully, then executing through phases
PRINCE2 – controlled project management than leave nothing to chance.
PMI`s PMBOK – applying universal standards to Waterfall project management.
Your initiatives
As with any good project, preparation is vital to ensure it will be completed on time and within budget. During the initiation phase, determine the following to create the project foundation: project scope, project overview, budget.
During this phase, it's time to set key milestones and dates, including the final project completion date. When you get clear and intentional about project timing, you can ensure all team members move towards the same goal.
During the execution phase, you will carry out the details of your project plan (or project deliverables) to deliver your products to your specific stakeholders. This stage could also involve recommending changes and suggesting corrective action.
This is crucial in any project life cycle. Effective monitoring requires regular consistent project “check-ins”, use of proper project documentation and tracking tools or frameworks. The more visual and real-time this is, the better.
This final step, sometimes known as “project delivery,” is when you wrap up all activities and deliver the final product to the client. You can also make a full review or audit of what went well, what didn't go as planned, to make future projects better.
